4. About Anybus Communicator
4.1. How the Communicaon Works

The Communicator enables communicaon between a Master device connected to a PROFINET network and a
Master device connected to a EtherNet/IP network.
The Master device can, for example, be a PLC control system or a Gateway.
The Communicator main task is to transfer cyclic I/O data between the two networks.
