9.3.4. Update Firmware
Before You Begin
Ensure that the Communicator is disconnected from the OT networks.

To update the rmware:
1. On the Files & rmware page, click Upload.
2. In the Upload Firmware window, click Select rmware (.hi).
3. In the Open dialog box, browse to and select the rmware le and click Open.
4. To start the rmware upgrade, click Update rmware.
The rmware le is validated and transferred.
Result
• If the rmware le pass the validaon: The rmware is upgraded and then the Communicator automacally
reboots, for the upgrade to take eect.
• If the rmware le is rejected: An error message appear.
