Specific Safety Instructions 27
If the sensor cover glass has been contaminated by solid dirt or
grease, special optical cleaning kits should be used for dirt
removal under very high care! If the contamination cannot be
removed, the camera should be taken to an ARRI service center
for cleaning.
THE USE OF METHANOL TO CLEAN OPTICAL SURFACES IS
NOT RECOMMENDED!
NEVER USE ACETONE TO CLEAN OPTICAL SURFACES!
NEVER TRY TO REMOVE THE SENSOR COVER GLASS!
DO NOT POINT THE CAMERA INTO DIRECT SUNLIGHT, VERY
BRIGHT LIGHT SOURCES, OR HIGH-ENERGY LIGHT SOURCES
(e.g. laser beams)! This may cause permanent damage to the
camera image sensor.
DO NOT POINT THE VIEWFINDER INTO DIRECT SUNLIGHT,
VERY BRIGHT LIGHT SOURCES, OR HIGH-ENERGY LIGHT
SOURCES (e.g. laser beams)! This may cause permanent
damage to the viewfinder display and optical elements.
