To recover the closed login screen, press twice the power button.
− If the device has no lock or is locked in the Swipe mode, tap Log In on the Myco Launcher Alerts
screen.
2. Hold the card against the back of the handset.
3. Enter the personal PIN.
If the PIN has been forgotten, see Resetting PIN, page 31.
4. Tap the tick button.
If the screen lock functionality is enabled and no activities are performed, the handset will be locked after a
configured sleep timeout.
Connecting a Badge to the User Account
Before a badge can be used to log in to a shared phone, it must be associated with the user account.
1. Do one of the following:
− If the handset is locked with the device PIN, press the power button to light up the screen.
− If the device has no lock or is locked in the Swipe mode, tap Log In on the Myco Launcher Alerts
screen.
2. Hold the card against the back of the handset.
3. Tap Add to my account to associate the card.
4. Complete the User ID and Password fields and tap Log In.
5. On the Choose your PIN screen, enter the personal PIN code that will be used for login to the shared
phone and tap Continue.
6. Re-enter the PIN code and tap OK to log in to the handset.
Unlocking a Shared Phone
After a certain period called sleep timeout, the handset is automatically locked. The administrator
configures if the user logged in to a shared phone with a badge can swipe the screen to unlock the handset
or must enter their personal PIN. If the swipe unlock method is enabled, the personal PIN code is used only
for logging in to a shared phone. For more information about handset lock, see 4.2 Wake and Unlock the
Handset, or Lock and Put It to Sleep, page 14.
Resetting PIN
To reset the personal PIN on a shared phone, perform the following steps:
1. Tap Log In.
2. Hold the card against the back of the handset.
3. Tap Forgot PIN.
4. Complete the Password field and tap Log In.
5. On the Choose your PIN screen, enter the personal PIN code that will be used for logging in to the
shared phone and tap Continue.
6. Re-enter the PIN code and tap OK to log in to the handset.
Changing PIN
To change the personal PIN code for shared phone login, perform the following steps:
1. In the Settings app, select Change PIN.
2. Complete the Password field and tap Continue.
