9 Note: No repairs or adjustments should be attempted. Use of unauthorized parts
for maintenance or repair voids the warranty and could result in personal injury,
costly damage, or reader malfunction.
Care and Cleaning
For questions about proper cleaning techniques or if interior cleaning or service
is required, please contact ASP at 1-888-STERRAD.
If cleaning is necessary, unplug and allow the reader to cool. Wipe the exterior
surfaces of the reader using a cloth dampened with mild non-abrasive detergent. Do
not spray cleaning products directly on the reader. Do not attempt to clean or service
the interior of the reader. The interior of the reader contains no user serviceable parts
and requires no routine maintenance or calibration.
CAUTION!
• Unplug and allow the reader to cool before cleaning.
• Clean only the external surfaces following the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Do not immerse in liquid. Do not spill liquid onto or into the instrument.
• Do not attempt to open the instrument housing. The interior of the reader
contains no user serviceable parts and requires no routine maintenance.
