Display Brightness
Display Brightness allows the operator to adjust the brightness of the display.
Touch the plus sign (+) to increase the brightness, and touch the minus sign (-) to
decrease the brightness.
Alert Sounds
The Alert Sounds toggle switch allows the user to turn audible alarms on and off.
Barcode Scanner in Use
The reader is equipped with a barcode scanner. The operator also has the option
of using an external USB barcode scanner. Touch Internal to use the barcode scanner
which comes equipped on the front of the reader. Touch USB to use an external barcode
scanner connected through a USB port. Please note that when the external barcode
scanner is enabled, the internal barcode scanner will be disabled.
Reader Settings
In the System Conguration utility touch Reader Settings. Reader Settings
allows the administrator to change the Reader ID, Facility Name, and Department Name.
Select the eld, type the required information and touch Enter. Touch Done to return to
System Conguration.
Printer Settings
In the System Conguration utility touch Printer Settings. Printer Settings allows
the user to select a printer on one of the reader’s USB ports. Select the USB port with
the desired printer from the drop down menu. Touch Test Print to print a test page.
Touch Done to return to System Conguration.
