Service-level access.
Manage Administrators
The Manage Administrators utility allows administrators to add and remove
other Administrator-level accounts in order to control who has the ability to change the
reader settings.
In the Utilities Menu touch Manage Admin. Change administrator account
privileges with the Manage Admin utility. Touch Add New to congure a new account.
Modify an existing account by touching Edit or remove and account by touching Delete.
Touch Done to return to the Utilities Menu.
Add New Account
Touch Add New, to create a new Administrator account. Enter the username,
password, and re-enter the password for the new account and touch Add Administrator.
The username must be between two and eight characters in length. The password must
be eight to twelve characters in length with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase
letter, and one number. Touching a text eld brings up the on-screen keyboard. Typing text
and pressing Enter on the keyboard returns to the previous screen with the text eld
lled. Cancel returns to the previous screen with no entry in the text eld.
Edit or Delete Existing Account
Select an existing account from the list and touch Edit to modify the account.
Change the username and password of the selected account. Touch Apply Changes to
save the changes. Cancel returns to the previous screen. Select an account from the
list and touch Delete to remove the account. The reader will then ask for conrmation.
Touch Yes to conrm the deletion, or touch No to return to the previous screen.
Manage Sterilizers
The Manage Sterilizers utility allows administrators to add, remove, or edit the
settings of a sterilizer. Adding or changing sterilizer information here changes the
information which can be selected from the drop down menus in “Manual Entry of Cycle
Information” (Chapter 4).
