9 Operation principle:
The principle consists of measuring the variations in pressure caused by transient
events through the use of a learning cycle and to remove them from the final
measurement of the part.
Three ATR functions are possible: ATR0, ATR1 and ATR2. ATR1 and l'ATR2 are
different due to their learning cycles.
9 ATR0:
The initial value of the transient is known. Parameters must be set manually.
The ATR may only be used on parts which have identical behaviour during the
test, in other words, parts which have an identical transient.
Associated parameters to be set: Initial (Initial value of the transient), Transit (actual,
non modifiable value of the transient), Tolerance (Drift tolerance on acquisition of the
transient, % of the reject level).
) Select the option and enter settings if necessary.
9 ATR1:
The value of the transient is unknown. A special learning cycle must be carried out.
The learning cycle of this function must
obligatorily be carried out on a leak proof
part (no leak!).
The instrument carries out a normal test
cycle and considers that the pressure
variation measured at the end of the cycle
is the transient. This value is memorised
and removed from the result of the
following tests final result.
Reasoning: the part is good, therefore the
pressure drop measured is the transient.
