5. INFRARED INTERFACE
Not functional.
6. RAPID CONNECTORS
Rapid connectors may be mounted on the front
of the instrument. They enable the pressure
and calibration to be verified easily. The first is
used for the regulator circuit and enables the
value of the test pressure indicated by the
instrument to be checked with a standard gauge
or the ATEQ Leak flow calibrator. This
connector is not part of the measurement circuit
and does not interfere with the test.
The second is used for verification of the test
circuit and uses a known standard leak
expressed in cm
3
/min or another unit of flow to
find the equivalent drop in pressure and, if
necessary, to calibrate in this unit.
Because this connector is part of the
measurement circuit, all connections to it
must be airtight.
