3.3.9. ATR learning
When transient values are not known, a learning cycle must be carried out for the
transient so as to enable the instrument to calculate and enter the values. These
learning cycles are found in brief in the special cycles menu.
If there has been no transient learning
the DEFAUT ATR message appears.
Amongst the special cycles available
select "Transient learning".

cycle is selected.
Next, start the special cycle by using
the START key.

At the end of the cycle, the display
gives the result for the good part test.
The instrument carries out a test cycle
and then continues the cycle by
carrying out a learning cycle. Once the
cycle is finished, the transient values
are saved.
