GPIB Configuration
Introduction
As an op tion, 2700 se ries in stru ments can be or dered in GPIB con fig u ra -
tions, mod els SYS-27xxG. GPIB ca pa bil i ties can also be added to in stru -
ments af ter pur chase with the in stal la tion of a GPIB up grade at the Au dio
Pre ci sion fac tory or at a fac tory-au tho rized representative.
The GPIB con fig u ra tion brings the IEEE-488.2 in ter face stan dard, also
known as the Gen eral Pur pose In ter face Bus or GPIB, to the 2700 se ries.
Hard ware for GPIB con sists of a cir cuit board mounted on a con nec tor panel
as sem bly that is fit ted in the re served space on the in stru ment rear panel, as
shown below.
