The 2700 Series: an Overview
Au dio Pre ci sion 2700 se ries in stru ments are com puter-controlled au dio test
sets of fer ing broad, high-performance ca pa bil i ties for test ing an a log, dig i tal,
and mixed-domain de vices. The 2700 se ries in stru ments are based on mod els
in the Au dio Pre ci sion Sys tem Two Cas cade and Cas cade Plus lines. A 2700
se ries in stru ment con sists of two key com po nents:

The 2700 se ries in stru ment hard ware, which pro vides the phys i cal plat -
form and mea sure ment elec tron ics nec es sary for proper sig nal in ter face
and pre cise sig nal gen er a tion and anal y sis. The hard ware is mounted in a
sturdy alu mi num and steel chas sis that can be in stalled in a stan dard

wide equip ment rack us ing op tional mount ing hard ware.

The 2700 se ries con trol soft ware, AP2700. AP2700 runs on a per sonal
com puter (PC) and pro vides the con trol, com pu ta tion, dis play, re port and
au to ma tion func tions for a 2700 se ries in stru ment. (The PC must be pur -
chased sep a rately). The AP2700 con trol soft ware will run un der
Microsoft Win dows XP and Win dows Vista op er at ing sys tems.
