You must have a USB 2.0 port for a USB-APIB adapter, or an open PCI,
PCI Ex press or PCMCIA slot to mount the APIB in ter face.

You must have a color mon i tor and a video card with at least VGA ca pa -
bil i ties. Video res o lu tion of 1024´768 or greater is rec om mended.
You will also need sig nal in ter face ca bles to con nect your 2700 se ries in -
stru ment to your de vice un der test (DUT). Since there are many pos si ble con -
nec tion con fig u ra tions, sig nal ca bles are not pro vided with the in stru ment.

In stalling the Soft ware
To in stall the 2700 se ries control soft ware, use the fol low ing pro ce dure:

Close all Win dows pro grams.
§
In sert the AP2700 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. The Win dows
Autorun fea ture should start the in stal la tion pro gram au to mat i cally. If it
does not, click on the Start menu and choose Run. Click Browse and
choose the file Setup.exe on the AP2700 CD-ROM. Click OK in the
Run di a log box.
