DIGITAL OUTPUT
In sin gle-con nec tor mode, the 2700 se ries in stru ment trans mits ste reo
dig i tal au dio si mul ta neously on the XLR “I” con nec tor, the BNC con nec -
tor, and the op ti cal con nec tor. In dual-con nec tor mode, chan nels A and B
are trans mit ted on the XLR and BNC “I” and “II” con nec tors, re spec -
tively.

DIGITAL INPUT
In sin gle-con nec tor mode, the in stru ment re ceives ste reo dig i tal au dio
from the XLR “I” con nec tor, the BNC con nec tor, or the op ti cal con nec -
tor. In dual-con nec tor mode, chan nels A and B are re ceived on the XLR
or BNC “I” and “II” con nec tors, re spec tively.

ANALOG OUTPUTS
The in stru ment an a log gen er a tor out puts (both “A” and “B” chan nels)
are avail able as balanced sig nals on the XLR and dual ba nana con nec -
tors, and as unbalanced sig nals on the BNC con nec tors.

ANALOG INPUTS
The XLR and dual ba nana (bal anced) and the BNC (un bal anced) con -
nec tors (both “A” and “B” chan nels) are con nected to the in stru ment an -
a lyzer in puts.
§
SIGNAL MONITOR PORTS
The in stru ment pro vides seven sig nal mon i tor out puts suit able for au di -
ble mon i tor ing, os cil lo scope view ing or other mon i tor ing pur poses.
Three of the sig nals orig i nate within the An a log An a lyzer. Four sig nals
orig i nate in the Dig i tal An a lyzer and are con verted to the an a log do main
for mon i tor ing.

SYNC and TRIGGER PORTS
Two An a log Generator mon i tor out puts are avail able, along with an An a -
log Gen er a tor Sync Out put and an An a log Gen er a tor Trig ger In put.
§
GROUND CONNECTORS
Four ba nana-jack / bare-wire-ter mi nal ground con nec tors are pro vided,
each con nected to chas sis ground.
§
HEADPHONE JACK
A 1/4" stereo phone jack con nected to the au di ble mon i tor out put. In -
serting a plug into this jack in ter rupts the sig nal to the in ter nal speaker.
§
VOLUME CONTROL
The vol ume con trol ad justs the au dio vol ume of both the in ter nal speaker
and the head phone jack.
§
POWER SWITCH and INDICATOR
The power switch turns the mains power sup ply to the in stru ment hard -
ware ON ( I ) or OFF ( O ).
