To correct high packet loss (PL):
■ Eliminate interference
problems: Distance your
modem from electrical
devices
■ Do not coil up any excess
signal or power cables.
■ Check the statistics counters
of network nodes to
determine where loss is
occurring. Typically, each
node in the network has a
packet loss counter. Isolate
the network segment where
loss has been occurring.
