The Infusomat compact
plus
is designed for
use in an electromagnetic environment in
which emitted RF disturbances are con-
trolled. Customers or users of the Infusomat
compact
plus
or its components can help
prevent electro magnetic interference by
complying with the minimum distances
between portable and mobile RF telecom-
munications devices (transmitters) and the
Infusomat compact
plus
and its components,
as recommended below in accordance with
the maximum output power of the commu-
nication device.
Note: The higher value applies at 80MHz
and 800MHz.
Note: For transmitters whose rated power is
not specied in the table above, the distance
can be determined using the equation for
the relevant column. Pis the transmitter’s
rated power inW according the manufac-
turer’s specications.
Note: A factor of 10/3 is used to calculate
the recommended safe distance of trans-
mitters in the frequency range between
80MHz and 2.5GHz, in order to reduce
the probability of a mobile communication
device used unintentionally in the patient
area causing a fault.
