Don’t pack fiber and cable too tightly so that avoid pressuring on the cables to
reduce service life and performance of cables.
3.12.2 Packing Steps
(1) Pack pendent fibers and cables of all modules, and make them to branch either
side of the chassis according to convenience.
(2) At all sides of the chassis, fix all fibers and cables by chassis pack cable ring or
cable guides.
(3) For power supply cables, extend under the chassis when packing.Ensure that
cables cling to the chassis and go straightly.
3.13 Verifying the Switch chassis Installation
3.13.1 Checking the Rack
Confirm that Power supply are matched to the Power switchboard of the rack.
After the chassis being unstalled in the rack, comfirm that the front door and the
back door of the Rack can be closed.
Confirm that the rack is completely fixed and the rack can not move in the rack.
Confirm that the chassis is completely fixed and the cables are fixed on the rack.
3.13.2 Checking the connecting
Confirm that the fibers and the cables are matched to the interface.
Confirm that the way of packing cable is right.
3.13.3 Checking the Power
Confirm that the power wire connecting is good and safty.
Confirm that the captive screws on the power supply module panel are tighted.
Turn on the power switch, and verify that the power module can work normally.
