4.5.4 upgrade in CLI(command line interface)
In order to convenient to upgrade software for on-line manufacture, the system
software provide that upgrade the system software itself and Bootrom software. The
method is similar with that on monitor mode.
1. Use TFTP protocol:
(1) Run system software, enter privilege mode:
switch#
(2) Enter into config mode, config a ip address to a enternet port.

int vlan 1
switch_config_v1#
ip address <ip_addr> <net_mask>
(3) Use PING to test connection between tftp server and you computer .
switch#
ping <ip_address>
<ip_address>: target ip address, that is tftp server ip address.
(4) Install or upgrade system software by TFTP protocol

copy tftp flash [ip_addr]
(5)
After upgradation, return to command line prompt interface.
