WARNING
Contamination of the device with toxic, infectious or radioactive substances.

NEVER take a chamber contaminated with toxic substances or sources of infection for
recycling according to Directive 2012/19/EU.
Prior to disposal, remove all toxic substances and sources of infection from the cham-
ber.
A chamber from which all toxic substances or sources of infection cannot be safely
removed must be considered as “special” waste according to national law. Dispose of it
accordingly.
The refrigerant used R134A (1,1,1,2-tetrafluorethane) is not inflammable at ambient pressure. It must not
be exposed to the environment. In Europe, recovery of the refrigerant R134A (GWP 1300) is mandatory
according to regulation No. 842/2006/EC. Ensure the compliance with the applicable legal requirements
regarding qualification of staff, disposal, and documentation.
21.5 Disposal of the chamber in non-member states of the EC

vice.
Follow the statutory regulations for appropriate, environmentally friendly disposal.
The main board of the cooling incubator includes a lithium cell. Please dispose of it according to national
regulations.
