Remove the aspirating head by
unscrewing from the body.
Remove cover from Contact Plate.

Place Contact Plate into sampling
unit – using standard 90mm
Contact Plates; held in place by the
sprung tab.
Replace aspirating head.
To operate, navigate to the Information Page for the relevant chamber.
Start the timer by pressing the
button (visible only when
configuration includes Level 2
Environmental Monitoring Option).
The sampler, supplied by Bioquell (TD069-0620), has a sampling rate of 180
litres/min and runs for a set period of 5 minutes 33 seconds.
When the sampling cycle is completed, the plate is removed and incubated. The
organisms are then visible to the naked eye and can be counted for an
assessment of the level of contamination (colony forming units).
