still on the motorway so that this orientation process is speeded up.
Bypassing a traffic jam during navigation
Alongside the ability to automatically bypass traffic jams with the aid of the dynam-
ic navigation feature, the TravelPilot also gives you the option of manually entering
traffic jams or blocked sections of road during an active navigation session.
To bypass a traffic jam, proceed as follows:
1 Press the button =.
The traffic jam menu is displayed containing the settings for the end of
the traffic jam.
2 Press the
or : button to set the distance to the end of the traffic jam
relative to your current position.
3 Press the button :.
The traffic jam menu is displayed containing the settings for the start of
the traffic jam.
4 Press the
or : button to set the distance to the start of the traffic
jam relative to your current position.
5 Press the OK button ;.
The system returns to navigation mode and the route is recalculated.
Cancelling the traffic jam bypass feature
1 Whilst the manual traffic jam bypass is active, press the button =.
A message will appear in the display asking you whether you want to
cancel the traffic jam bypass.
2 If you want to cancel the traffic jam bypass, press the OK button ;.
The navigation menu opens again and the route is recalculated.
