Storing the currently active destination in the destination memory
You can store the currently active destination of the navigation session in the
destination memory.
1 During navigation, select the memory bank N1...N4 in which you want to
store the destination. To do so, press the NAV button 7 repeatedly until
the required memory bank appears in the display.
2 Press the
button <.
✔ The current destination is displayed.
3 Whilst the destination is being displayed, press one of the 1 - 6 buttons
> for longer than two seconds to store the destination to that button.
✔ You will hear a confirmation beep when the destination has been stored.
The navigation menu will then be displayed again.
Storing a position marker in the destination memory
You also have the option (when no navigation session is active) of storing your
vehicle’s current position as a position marker in the destination memory. This
feature is useful if you notice an interesting location during your journey and
want to return to it at some other point in time.
Note: To ensure that your vehicle position can be stored as a posi-
tion marker, the navigation CD must be inserted and no navigation
session must active.
To set a position marker for your current position,
1 press the NAV button 7.
2 Select the memory bank N1...N4 in which you want to store the position
marker. To do so, press the NAV button 7 repeatedly until the required
memory bank appears in the display.
