6.2.2 Creating a project with a template
From version 14VRS, all projects are created using project templates. Sever‐
al MTX micro project templates allow the user to create a new machine proj‐
ect. A project template contains the system PLC program and the CNC pa‐
rameters for the currently selected machine type.
Currently, 4 project templates are available for MTX micro:
● For milling machines: Basic project Milling
● For turning machines: Basic project Turning 1 spindle
● For turning centers: Basic project Turning 2 spindles
● For Automation: Basic project Automation
To create a new machine project, proceed as follows:
1. To create a basic project from a template, select File – New - Project…
in the main menu
