8 NC parameterization
8.1 Introduction
This chapter describes how to parameterize the NC. It is assumed that the
NC parameters have already been downloaded correctly, seechapter 6.4
"Downloading the CNC configuration data" on page 68.
If the appropriate IndraWorks basic project was used, most of the NC param‐
eters are already preset correctly. The only adjustments that have to be
made refer to velocities, traversing ranges, etc.
We nevertheless recommend that you check and, if necessary,
adjust the NC parameters mentioned in this chapter.
8.2 NC configurator/Parameter editor
8.2.1 Introduction
The NC is parameterized via the NC configurator.
This requires that the NC be switched to online mode. This is indicated by
"IndraMotion_MTX_micro" being displayed in blue along with the online icon
.
Proceed as follows:
1. Open the "IndraMotion_MTX_micro node" in the active IndraWorks proj‐
ect
2. Open the "Motion" node
3. Open the "NC configuration" (double-click)
