8.3 Basic configuration
8.3.1 Introduction
The basic setting of the machine is made and/or checked in the "configura‐
tion parameters".
Proceed as follows:
1. Configuration parameters
2. Basic NC configuration (MAIN)
Checking the drive assignment
Open nodes Dr[1] to Dr[4].
Check the assignment of the drives to the machine (see fig. 4-2):
1. Number of NofCh channels (usually one channel)
2. Number of NofDr NC axes (4 in case of HCQ and 3 in case of HCT con‐
trollers)
3. Number of NofDrNodes drives
4. Node SpFunc indicates that this drive is a spindle
