Custom Length
Setting a custom length gives you the option to set smaller label lengths than what is available with the
fixed length setting. The maximum length is 99.9 inches (2537.46mm) with the maximum number of
characters at 50. Text will be centered on the label, regardless of length.
To set a custom label length:
1. Press LABEL TYPE.
2. Navigate to Custom Length, and press Enter .
3. Use the number keys to enter the desired length, and press Enter.
Enter data as usual. If you enter more data than the fixed length label can accommodate, the error
message “Cannot Fit” displays and you are returned to the label.
To correct the error, you can delete text (see page 33), change the font size (see page 34), or select a
longer custom length label size.
