reversedrivinggear(3) andforward drivinggear(4) on its leftandright,andthedrivingdirection(forward/
reverse)isselectedbymovementofthesleeve(5).Toselecttheforwarddriving,thesleeveismovedtothe
righttobeengagedwiththeforwarddrivinggear.Then,therotatingforceoftheengineturnsthe44Tgearof
themainshiftdriveshaftwhichisengagedwiththe37Tgearoftheforwarddrivinggear.
Asaresult,eachgearxedtothemainshiftdriveshaftwithsplinesreceivesthisrotatingpower.
Also, to select the reverse driving, the sleeve is moved to the left to be engaged with the reverse driving
gear.Asaresult,the28Tgearofthereversedrivinggearisengagedwiththe26Tgear(6)oftheidleshaftto
transfertherotatingforce.Then,the26Tgearisengagedwiththe35Tgear(7)ofthemainshiftdriveshaftto
turnthemainshiftdriveshaft.
Forthereversedrivingoperation,astherotatingpowerisdeliverednallytothemainshiftdriveshaftthrough
theidleshaft,the mainshiftdriveshaftisrotatedinthereversedirection,driving thevehicle inthe reverse
direction.
