Thisvehicle isequippedwithan independentPTOwhichreceivesenginepowercontinuously regardlessof
theengagementstatusofthemainclutchanditspoweriscontrolledbyitsseparatePTOclutch.Theengine
powertodrive the PTO is delivered through themain PTOshaft (inner)(1). This main PTOshaft (inner)is
xedtothePTOsleeve(3)oftheywheelwithsplines,passingthroughthemainshaft(outer)(2)whichisa
hollowshaft.Therefore,thisshaftisrotated,regardlessofthemainclutch,aslongastheengineruns,anditis
connectedtothePTOclutchandthejoint(4)inthemiddletodelivertherotatingforcetothePTOshiftsection
throughthePTOdrivegearshaft(7).
As the joint (11), which is xedtothe end of the main PTOshaft with splines, engages theclutch hub (12)
andtheclutchhubisconnectedtotheclutchdiscasoneunit,theyidletogetherinanormalcondition.When
oil is drawn to the PTO clutch for PTO operation, this oil pushes the internal piston so the pressure plate
iscompressed against theclutch disc, rotating the wholePTOclutchassembly. Then,thisrotating force is
transferredtothePTOclutchshaft(5)whichisconnectedtothePTOclutchassemblywithsplines.Therefore,
thePTOdriveshaft(7)isengagedwiththejoint,rotatingtogether.
WhenthePTOsleeve(8)ismovedtotheleftforthePTO1stgearshift,thespeedofthePTOisdetermined
bytheengagementratioofthe14gearand65gearandthePTOshaft(10)isrotatedatthisspeed.Whenitis
movedtotherightforthePTO2ndgearshift,thePTOspeedisdeterminedbytheengagementratioofthe18
gearand60gearandthisspeedistransmittedtothePTOshaftthroughthePTOhub(9).
