CHAPTER II INSTALLATION
1. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Install the printer as follows:
1.1 Checking the Packaged Items
1.2 Removing the Tapes from the Printer
1.3 Removing the Paper Tray Protective Materials
1.4 Mounting the Print Head Cartridge
1.5 Mounting the Toner Cartridges
1.6 Mounting the Transfer Roll Cartridges
1.7 Loading Paper
1.8 Connecting the Power Cable
1.9 Correcting the Color Registrations
Note:
The printer has various protective materials for protection from vibrations and shocks
during move. Remove all the protective materials first.
If you purchased a two-tray module, attach the module to the printer first. For the
attachment method, refer to the attached document.
The cardboard box, carrying handle, styrofoam, and protective materials of the printer
package are necessary for the long-distance move of the printer. Be sure not to lose the
packaging materials.
