Side splice access
The side compartments of the ODC-80 provide access to entry and splicing areas for
subscriber fiber, copper cable, AC entry, and ground.
Fiber splicing in the right side compartment
The fiber splice compartment is on the right side as you face the cabinet. This
compartment contains:
• Entry plates for subscriber fiber
• Access holes for equipment fiber
• Pegboard panel for the mounting of fiber splice trays and fiber distribution
cassettes supporting up to 1920 fibers
• AC power and ground entry
Copper splicing in the left side compartment
The copper splice compartment is on the left side as you face the cabinet. This
compartment contains:
• Entry plates for subscriber copper cable
• Access holes for equipment copper cable
• Pegboard panel for the mounting and splicing of 1920 copper lines
