Introduction
Calix iMS features
The Calix integrated Management Software (iMS) is a graphical user interface that you use
to configure and monitor all of the Calix C7 nodes on a network. With the Calix iMS, you
can:
• view a diagram of your network topology
• configure all aspects of a Calix C7 network
• manage timing and synchronization
• view current alarms
• view and clear performance monitoring registers
You start the Calix iMS by using Internet Explorer (version 5.0 or higher with the Java 1.3
plug-in) to connect to any Calix C7 node in the network. See "Configure your computer
to connect to the Calix C7".
