Failed cooling fan
Description of cooling fans
The cooling fans circulate air within the patented cabinet cooling system. The cooling fan
module is located under the cabinet roof.

Procedure to test cooling fan operation
Verify cooling fan operation as part of regular cabinet maintenance. An over temperature
condition will occur as the result of a failed cooling fan.
Step Action
1.
Locate the HX Fan Test near the temperature sensor grille on the DC
Distribution panel.
2.
Insert a small wire into the INT test hole to press the start button for the
internal cooling fans. The fans will automatically shut off after running for 30
seconds. If the fans do not start, replace the fans.
3.
Insert a small wire into the EXT test hole to press the start button for the
external cooling fans. The fans will automatically shut off after running for 30
seconds. If the fans do not start, replace the fans.
