install copper protection modules
Install T1 labels
In the rear compartment, install copper protection
modules for all slots corresponding to your configuration.
The sample image shows 320 modules installed in 2 copper
protection panels. Your configuration may differ.
Calix outdoor cabinets ship with labels to indicate which
slots on the copper protection blocks are connected to a
T1 card. Use these labels to alert field technicians to the
possible presence of powered T1 lines at a protection
block.
The figure shows the labels for slot 1 and where you would
apply them to the copper protection block.
