WhentheignitionswitchisturnedON,thedisplayloads
itsstartuppage.
TheLightEmittingDiode(LED)onthefrontofthedisplay
shouldbegreen,indicatingthatthedisplayisbothpro-
grammedandpoweredON.
IftheLEDisnotlit,checktheharnessconnectortothe
display.Thencheckthecabpowerfusesforthedisplay.
Tofunctionproperly,thedisplayrequiresswitchedpower,
unswitchedpower,andground.
IftheLEDislit,butisnotgreen,contactyourCaseIH
dealerforassistance.

WhentheignitionswitchisturnedOFF ,thereisashort
delaybeforethescreengoesblank.Duringthisdelay,
thedisplayusesunswitchedpowertosavethecurrent
settingsandtoclosealllesindisplaymemoryoronthe
memorystick.
Thescreendisplaysamessage:“Yourdataisbeing
saved.Pleasedonotturnoffbatterykeywhiledisplayis
shuttingdown."Datalossmayoccurifthememorystick
isremovedbeforealllesareproperlyclosed.
Thedisplaysoundsthreeshortbeepswhentheprocess
iscomplete.
Theabsenceoftheshortbeepsmayindicatethat
unswitchedpowertothedisplayisnotpresent.Absence
ofunswitchedpowercanresultinthelossorcorruption
ofinformationonthememorystick.
Checkthecabunswitchedpowerfusesforthedisplay,or
contactyourCaseIHdealerforassistance.Thisproblem
mustberesolvedforthedisplaytofunctionproperly.
