“HeightOffset”
Whenamodel-speciclocationisselectedinthe“GPS
Location”window,defaultvaluespopulatethe“Forward
Offset”and“RightOffset”windows.Thewindowsare
dimmedandnoteditable.Thesevaluesareaccuratefor
thefactory-installedoreld-installedlocationoftheGPS
receiverwiththestandardmountingbracket.The“Height
Offset”windowdisplaysadefaultvaluethatisbasedon
avehicleequippedwithstandardtiresThiswindowised-
itable.Whenthe“Autoguidance”applicationispresent,
measuretheheightoffsetandadjustthevalueforaccu-
racy.Thevalueisusedforrollcorrectiontokeeptheve-
hiclealignedtotheswath.
When“Custom”isselectedinthe“GPSLocation”win-
dow,nodefaultvaluespopulatethe“ForwardOffset,”
“RightOffset,”or“HeightOffset”windows.Usethis
selectionwhentheGPSreceiverisnotmountedatthe
recommendedfactory-installedoreld-installedlocation,
orwhenacustombracketisinuse.Youmustmeasure
theforwardoffsetandrightoffsetandentereachvalue
intotheappropriatewindow.

Offsetvalues,whichdescribethedistancebetweenthe
GPSreceiverandtheGPSreferencepoint,arerequired
toachievemoreaccurateswathalignment,productappli-
cation,anddatamapping.Thedistancesaredescribed
inathreedimensionalplane.
