4-OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS
Bringingthemachineuptooperatingtemperature
Beforestartingoperation,allowthemainsystemstowarmuptotheirnormaloperatingtemperature.
NOTE:thenormaloperatingtemperatureforthehydraulicuidis50–80°C(122–176°F).
NOTICE:donotoperatethemachineifthetemperatureofthehydraulicuidisbelow25°C(77°F).
Thewarm-upprocedureisnecessaryforproperandsafemachineusage.Properwarm-upallowsforthebestpossible
machineperformanceandfuelefciency.
NOTICE:thewarm-upofthemachineismandatorywhenoperatinginseverewinterclimates.
NOTICE:thewarm-upofthemachinepreventswearandseveredamagestotheengine,tothefuelsystem,andto
thehydraulicsystem.
NOTICE:theexhaustpipebecomesextremelyhotwhiletheengineisidling.Makesurethatthereisnoammable
materialsuchasplants,driedgrass,paperwaste,oilandoldtiresclosetotheexhaustpipebeforestartingwarm-up
procedure.
NOTICE:nevercoverthegridsoftheradiatorswithammablematerials.
1.Starttheengineandletitrunforapproximately5–10minwithnoload.
2.Settheenginespeedlevertomid-rangespeed.
3.SetthesafetylocklevertoUNLOCKposition(frontwardposition).
4.Operatethebucketcontrolleverfor5min.
NOTICE:donotoperateanycontrolleverexceptthebucketcontrollever.
5.Settheenginespeedlevertohighspeed.
6.Operatethebucketcontrolleverandthearmleverforapproximately5–10minwithnoload.
NOTICE:operateonlythebucketcontrolleverandthearmcontrollever.
7.Completethewarm-upprocedurebyoperatingthecontrolsforallcylinders,travel,andswingfor3to4timesto
circulatewarmedhydraulicuidintothewholecircuit.
Checkthefollowingitemsafterreachingnormaloperatingtemperatureoftheuids:
•
Exhaustgasisnormal.
•
Nounusualnoiseorvibration.
•
Noleakofoil,fuelorwater.
•
Nounusualnoisewhenactivatingthehydraulicequipment.
•
Inspectionofthehorn,buzzer,workinglight,andinstrumentcluster.
•
Properdisplayoftheenginecoolanttemperaturegauge.
•
Checkthevisibilityfromtheviewmirrorsbeforeoperation.Adjustandcleanupdirtasnecessary.
•
Checkeachoperation(travel,frontequipment,andswing).
Ifanyofthefollowingoccursduringthewarm-upprocedure,stoptheengineimmediately.
•
Enginespeedincreasesordecreasesrapidly.
•
Enginesoundandexhaustgascolorareabnormal.
•
Thedisplayscreendisplaysanymessageandwarningsoundbeeps.
