Normaloperationofthemachine
Whenrollinginthearm,theroll-inmovementstopsmo-
mentaryatpoint(X)asshown,thenrecoversspeedagain
afterpassingpoint(X).
Thereasonisthatthemovementbythearmweightis
fasterthanthespeedofoilowintothecylinder.When
loweringtheboom,asoundmaybeheardcontinuously.
Thisiscausedbytheoilowinthevalve.
Whenyouswingthemachine,anoiseneartheswingmo-
tormaybeheard.Thenoiseisgeneratedbythebrake
valve.
Ifthemachineisoverloaded,asoundiscausedbythe
reliefvalves,whichprotectthehydraulicsystems.
