Iftheenginestopswhentravelingalongaslope,immedi-
atelylowerandindentthebucket(1)andthedozerblade
(2)intotheground.Releaseallthecontrols,setthesafety
levertotheLOCKposition,settheenginespeedthrottle
tothelowidleposition,andthenstarttheengineagain.
Iftheenginedoesnotstart,removethestarterkey,and
placethe"Donotoperate"tagonthemachinecontrols.
Getofftheoperator'scompartment,andclosethecab
door.Blockbothcrawlersbymeansofwedges(3),and
deneasafeareaofatleast3m(9.8ft)aroundthema-
chine,cleaningthisareafromobstaclesandbystanders.
