Evaluate(ifnotknown)themassoftheobjecttobehan-
dledandcompareitwiththedatalistedintheliftable
loadschart(1)locatedinthecab.Donotliftloadsex-
ceedingthemaximumvaluesprescribedbythetable.
•
Presstheoverloadswitch(2)toactivatetheoverload
warningalarm.Theoverloadwarningalarmisintended
toavoidliftingofexcessiveloads.
NOTICE:ifanoverloadconditionisdetectedduringthe
handlingoftheload,Whenthemachineisoverloaded,
abuzzersoundsandtheoverloadwarninglightinthe
instrumentclusterisON.Placetheloadontotheground
andchecktheloadconditionsmakingreferencetothe
chartlocatedinsidethecab.
•
Securetheloadwiththeloadhandlingeye(3)located
onthebucketlinkagerod,usingslingingdevicesand
chainsadequatefortheloadtobelifted.Inordertolimit
theswingingoftheload,avoidslingingitwithcables
and/orchainstoolong.
•
Extendthebucketcylindertoendstroke.
•
Checkthesurroundingworkingareaandmakesure
thatthepathtobetravelledwiththeloadisfreefrom
obstacles.
•
Liftslowlytheload,avoidingsharpmovementswhich
couldcauseswingingoftheload.Keeptheloadnear
themachine,toimprovethestabilityandoperate,
preferably,alongitslongitudinalaxis,ratherthancross-
ways.Lifttheloadfromthegroundtheminimumheight
required.
•
Positionandplacetheloadwheredesired,makingsure
thatitisrestingonasolidbaseappropriateforitsmass.
•
Removethechains.
