3.5 Ensuring Proper Clearance for Air Flow around the IDU
The Evolution IP-20LH fans draw air into the left side of the chassis, and push
the air through the chassis and out the right side.
IP-20LH Air Flow
To ensure that the IP-20LH maintains a proper operating temperature, you
must ensure that the air flow is unimpeded:
Make sure to install the chassis level in the rack, with at least 5 cm clearance
between both sides of the chassis and the walls or other obstacles.
Make sure the sections of the rack that are aligned with the chassis are open
so as to allow air flow to and from the chassis.
