Looking in from the front of the machine,
locate the low pressure gauges at the back
center (Figure 4-11). They should be set
at listed in the table below:
A Clutch Pressure 60 psi (415 kPa)
B All Clamps Close
Pressure
60 psi (415 kPa)
NOTE: These settings are pre-
set at the factory. Air pressures
can be changed to meet the needs
of different weights of flatwork.
Press a red safety STOP button.
Figure 4-12 shows the remaining air pressure
gauges at the left rear, at the right rear (B), and
at center/right in the machine. The air pressure
gauges factory default settings are listed :
A Left Spreader Clamps Back
Pressure
50 psi (345 kPa)
B Inlet Conveyor Lift Pressure
(gauge only-not adjustable)
80 psi (550 kPa)
C Tail Air Bar Pressure 30-45 psi
(205-410 kPa)
Remember, these remaining pressure regulators
only need to be checked and/or adjusted in the
case of a specific machine performance problem.
Refer to the REPAIR chapter, Compressed Air
System section for the appropriate procedure.
