Check Setscrews

Allen wrench
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Setscrews (Figure 4-13) hold sprockets,
bearings, and other rotating parts securely in
place. Check and make sure that all setscrews
are tight.

Bearing Assemblies
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Check the grooved bearings in the assembly
by taking the spreader clamp (Figure 4-14) in
hand and shaking it from side to side. If there is
free-play in the carriage, the bearings need to be
replaced.
