6.1 Introduction
The tester can be controlled remotely by PC for data transmission through RS232 or GPIB
(IEEE 488-1978) interface.
6.2 GPIB Interface
6.2.1 Applied Standard
The tester applies the IEEE488-1978 standard.
6.2.2 Interface Capability
Basic Listener requirement
Service request requirement
All remote/local requirement
No Parallel poll requirement
All device clear requirement
No Device trigger requirement
No controller requirement
6.2.3 Interface Message
The table below lists the Tester’s reaction to the following interface messages:
It switches the Tester to Local mode.
It clears the selected device.
It is prohibited to use ENTER to switch to Local mode.
It clears the GPIB interface.
