8.6 Example Programs of RS-232C Interface Control
The following two example programs are written in QBASIC. Example program 1 is for LCR
SCAN (3302 only). Example program 2 is for transformer test. Before controlling, this
system has to be connected with the RS-232 interface, and set the 33XX RS-232 SETUP to
BAUD RATE = 19200, PARITY CHECK = NONE, WORD LENGTH = 8 for on-line control
successfully.
Example program 1:
100 OPEN "COM2:19200,N,8,1" FOR RANDOM AS #1
110 PRINT #1, ”REMO:ON;FREQ100;VOLT1;PARA:LPQ;
DDT:MAN;*TRG"
120 FOR I = 1 TO 5000 STEP 1
130 NEXT I
140 INPUT #1, DATA$
150 PRINT DATA$
160 END
Result: 33XX will be set to FREQ=100KHz, LEVEL voltage
1V. The primary
measurement parameter is Lp and secondary measurement parameter is Q. The measured
result will show on the computer after the command is triggered in manual trigger mode.
Description:
100 Set the computer COM2 BAUD RATE
19200, parity check to
NONE with word length to 8, also set COM2 to random access mode.
110 Set the RS-232 of 33XX to on-line, frequency to 100KHz, voltage to
1V, primary measurement parameter to Lp (parallel inductance), and
secondary measurement parameter to Q (quality factor). Select
manual trigger mode and start to trigger.
120, 130 Set DELAY TIME
140, 150 Read the measurement back from 33XX and display it on the screen.
160 End of program.
Example program 2:
100 OPEN "COM2:19200,N,8,1" FOR RANDOM AS #1
110 PRINT #1, ”I1RedDrAgOn"
120 FOR I = 1 TO 5000 STEP 1
130 NEXT I
140 PRINT #1, “T1RedDrAgOn”
150 END
Result: The 33XX will start test after the RS-232 is ON.
