Cisco 7926G Barcode Status Messages
Status messages on the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7926G provide information in regards to barcode scanner firmware
installation, Java MIDP Add On Module (AOM) installation, and barcode scanner symbology group configuration events for
the Cisco Unified Wireless Phone 7926G.
To view the status messages navigate to Settings > Status > Status Messages.
The barcode scanner firmware for the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7926G is included in the signed COP and ZIP files
(scanner firmware is not included in the TAR file).
Phone Logs
Phone logs for troubleshooting purposes can be obtained from the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G, 7925G-EX, and
7926G web interface.
Trace Settings
Browse to the web interface (http://x.x.x.x) of the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G, 7925G-EX, or 7926G then select
Trace Settings to enable debugging.
