BeltStaon Overview
1- Volume- CH A/B and CH C/D
In Operaonal Mode, turning the Volume control adjusts the volume of the
audio. Volume indicators appear on the display during adjustment and are
expressed in Decibels (dB).
The Volume control has an opon to be set to “Volume Press” where it
requires a “press and turn” to adjust the volume level. The “Volume Press”
opon can be adjusted under the “Set Controls” secon of the BeltStaon
menu.
Pressing the Volume control “CH A/B” and “CH C/D” changes the selected
intercom between channels A or B and C or D respecvely. The Volume
control has a channel “Delay Switch” opon which requires the knob to be
pressed and held slightly longer in order to switch from one channel to the
other. This feature can be enabled under the “Set Controls” secon of the
BeltStaon menu.
In Menu Mode, turning either Volume control allows the user to scroll the
opons of the current menu screen. Pressing the Volume control selects
the opon.
2- Stage Buon
The Stage Announce (STAGE) buon re-routes the microphone signal of the BeltStaon from the selected intercom channel
to the BaseStaon rear panel Stage Announce (SA) output connector. If desired, when this buon is pressed, a momentary
relay contact closure is made at the Relay connector. See the secon on GPO Relays.
Pressing the Stage Announce buon automacally enables the microphone, regardless of Talk Buon status. The Stage
buon sengs may be adjusted at the Stage Announce menu screen under the “Set Controls” secon of the BeltStaon
menu.
3- MENU Buon
Pressing MENU while the BeltStaon is in Operaonal mode will select Menu Mode, and the Main Menu screen will be
displayed. Once in Menu Mode, pressing MENU again will act as an escape key and will back out of the current menu screen
moving the user up one level. Pressing the MENU buon while at the Main Menu screen will exit Menu Mode and return
to Operaonal mode. The menu can be locked via a “Menu Lock” feature per BeltStaon.
4- ENTER Buon
The ENTER buon operates dierently depending on the mode of the BeltStaon. In Menu Mode, pressing the ENTER
buon selects the current menu opon and is the same as pressing a Volume control. A menu item is not selected unl the
ENTER buon (or Volume control) is pressed.
The ENTER buon can also acvate Wireless ISO (wireless talk around), providing wireless communicaon isolated from
any connected wired intercom system.
The ENTER buon is also one of the buons that can be assigned to acvate a Relay in the BaseStaon. It is possible to
acvate the Relay whenever the Wireless ISO feature is used.
5- LCD
While in Operaonal Mode, the LCD displays the status of the BeltStaon including the name of the currently communicang
BaseStaon, RF strength, baery level, and other data. The LCD backlight and contrast can be adjusted from the LCD
Adjustments menu screen under the LCD/LED secon of the BeltStaon menu.
