21 Tempest®900 4-Channel Wireless Intercom System
Talk Buon A/B and C/D
There are two TALK buons on each BeltStaon, one for
channels A/B and the other for channels C/D. The Talk buon
enables the microphone signal for the assigned intercom
channels.
Tempest uses an intelligent latching method for TALK buons.
Pressing the TALK buon momentarily will cause the TALK
buon to latch. Pressing and holding the TALK buon will
cause the buon to act as a momentary switch.
Talk tones can be enabled or disabled per BeltStaon. If
enabled, users will here a tone each me the TALK buon is
pressed.
Channel Indicator LEDs A/B and C/D
Each Talk buon has four individual LED indicators. Together they surround the
Talk buon. The LEDs will ash blue to indicate which intercom channel, A, B, C,
or D, has been selected and will illuminate connuously to indicate that “Talk”
is enabled on that channel.
The Channel Indicator LEDs will ash red when the microphone signal is reaching
a peak level and is entering into liming.
