Why are my Codan 2110 communications not clear?
    • K
      Katherine BoyleAug 3, 2025
If your Codan Transceiver communications aren't clear, try switching to another channel. When using a whip or long wire antenna, ensure the antenna selection icon is set to ATU or ATU/50. For short-distance communication, try laying the whip horizontally for near vertical incident skywave operation or switch to a long wire antenna. If the issue persists, switch to a dipole or broadband antenna and ensure the antenna selection icon is set to 50 or ATU/50. Remember to press PTT.
