Unit component What to clean and how to clean
Inlet valve
Strainer
Carefully remove any limescale inside the inlet valve
and on the strainer using a soft bristled brush (do not
use a wire brush).
Wash inlet valve and strainer insert with a lukewarm
soap solution, then rinse well with tap water.
Let the inlet valve dry before reinstallation!
Drain pump
O-ring
Pump wheel
Carefully remove any limescale from the pump housing
and the pump wheel using a soft bristled brush (do not
use a wire brush).
Wipe pump wheel with a damp cloth. Wash the pump
housing with a lukewarm soap solution and rinse well
with tap water.
Let the drain pump dry before reinstallation!
Filling cup
Disassemble lling cup.
Carefully remove any limescale from the components
of the lling cup and its connectors using a soft bristled
brush (do not use a wire brush).
If components of the lling cup are heavily calcied, place
them in an 8% formic acid solution (observe safety
notes in chapter 7.6), until the limescale comes off.
Wash the components of the lling cup with a lukewarm
soap solution and rinse well with tap water.
Reassemble lling cup.
Steam tank receptacle Carefully remove any limescale from the steam tank
receptacle and its connectors using a soft bristled brush
(do not use a wire brush).
If the steam tank receptacle is heavily calcied, place
it in an 8% formic acid solution (observe safety notes
in chapter 7.6), until the limescale comes off.
Wash the steam tank receptacle with a lukewarm soap
solution and rinse well with tap water.
