CC Scaling and Mapping [CC1-6] Sub-Page
This is the modifier that enables mapping the inbound CC number (and velocity) to any outbound CC
number. Also scales the inbound CC value to the outbound CC value. By scaling the value you can set a
“floor” and “ceiling” and “compress” or “expand” the CC value range. The inbound floor value means
any inbound value below this amount will be equal this amount, same for ceiling. Any values between
the floor and ceiling values are scaled. And yes they can invert the value by making the outbound max
less than the min!
This is useful for mapping the Velocity to a CC (i.e. #41) for some FM synths.
CC Scale variation (tab-stop)
There are 6 variations of CC scale and map #1- #6. Use the Up/Dn
buttons to move to the variation number, the number gets
underlined. Use the Encoder knob to scroll through the 6 variations.
Src Ch (tab-stop)
Choose the MIDI source channel “any” or 1-16. Use the Up/Dn
buttons to move to the Src Ch number, the number gets underlined.
Use the Encoder knob to scroll through the choices.
CC from (tab-stop)
Choose the MIDI CC from number 0-127. If you rotate counter clockwise there is also Vel (velocity) and
Aft (After touch – channel and poly). Use the Up/Dn buttons to move to the MIDI CC from number, the
number gets underlined. Use the Encoder knob to scroll through the choices.
CC to (tab-stop)
Choose the MIDI CC to number 0-127. Use the Up/Dn buttons to move to the MIDI CC to number, the
number gets underlined. Use the Encoder knob to scroll through the choices.
Inbound CC Value Min (tab-stop)
Choose the inbound floor CC value 0-127. Any inbound CC value below this value will be equal this value.
Use the Up/Dn buttons to move to the Value In Min number, the number gets underlined. Use the
Encoder knob to scroll through the choices.
Inbound CC Value Max (tab-stop)
Choose the inbound ceiling CC value 0-127. Any inbound CC value above this value will be equal this
value. Use the Up/Dn buttons to move to the Value In Max number, the number gets underlined. Use
the Encoder knob to scroll through the choices.
Outbound CC Value Min (tab-stop)
Choose the inbound floor CC value 0-127. Any inbound CC value below this value will be equal this value.
Use the Up/Dn buttons to move to the Value Out Min number, the number gets underlined. Use the
Encoder knob to scroll through the choices.
Outbound CC Value Max (tab-stop)
Choose the outbound ceiling CC value 0-127. Any inbound CC value above this value will be equal this
value. Use the Up/Dn buttons to move to the Value Out Max number, the number gets underlined. Use
the Encoder knob to scroll through the choices.
